Madaki Agro’s is unique position in Bauchi state gives it access to sources of cultivation of a variety of commodities. The company has access to a pool of over 5,000 trained farmers that are partners on our out-grower program. The following commodities will be procured from farmers, cleaned, graded and stored for delivery to our end users in Nigeria. These crops typically increase in value within 3 to 9 months when stored in the right conditions and sold to the right buyers.
- SOYA BEANS Madaki Agro has offtake agreement to deliver 50,000 metric tons of soya to end users in Nigeria in 2018/2019 on a rolling basis. With our target of supplying at least 10,000 metric tons, this transaction will require an investment of over 1 billion Naira.
- PADDY RICE Madaki Agro has offtake agreement to deliver 40,000 metric tons of paddy rice to end users in Nigeria in 2018/2019 on a rolling basis. With our target of supplying at least 10,000 metric tons, this transaction will require an investment of over 1 billion Naira
- OTHER COMMODITIES Bauchi state has the unique position of being in the cowpea and sesame seed producing belts in Nigeria. With the plan to procure 5000 metric tons from our partner farmers, the transaction will require an investment of over 700 million Naira.
- INSURANCE COVER: To protect the investment, that warehouses will be insured against fire and burglary while the movement of goods from warehouses to supply points will be covered by goods-in-transit insurance obtained from reputable insurance companies in Nigeria.
